Main Performance Indicators of Products
Designed and manufactured as per International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards such as IEC614, JG3050-1998 and British standards such as BS4607 and BS6099, the “JH” brand PVC insulated electrical insulation conduits are conforming to all the performance indexes. For high-impact heavy pipes (SGZH), the test results from China National Center for Quality Supervision & Test of Plastics Products (NTSQP) and indexes specified in IEC614 are compared as follows:

Thesurface is smooth, and the wall thickness is equal. The external diameter ismeasured with the maximum and minimum external gauge.
Bending180° at roomtemperature and lowtemperature(-5℃or -15℃), thepipe has no damage or cracks can be seen on the surface.
Bending 180°at -15℃,there is no visible cracks.
Load 1250N, uploading for one minute, the transformation<25%, unloading for one minute, the transformation<10%

At low temperature of -15℃ or -5℃, heavy punch 2kg, in height of 300mm, there is no visible cracks in at least 10 of the 12 samples.

Fixed in the 90° bend pipe of steel frame, in the oven of 60℃ ±2℃ for 24 hours, after taken out, the measure can pass through automatically.

Underthe condition of 60℃,steelball with 5mm diameteris pressed by 20N on the pipe, the impression diameteron the pipe surface is <2mm.
Theimpression diameter is 1.2mm.
Whenthe water temperature is 23±5℃,voltage is AC2000V and frequency is 50Hz, it can keep non-breakdown for 15minutes.
Whenthe water temperature is 60±2℃andthe voltage is AC500V, the resistance >100 megohm.
The test time in flame is as follows:
When the thickness of the material is ≤ 2.5mm, 2.5mm-3mm, it will be extinguished within 30 seconds after leaving the flame.
Time on the flames: placed 3 times successively at 25 seconds each time and interval of 5 seconds, for 80 seconds.
Self-extinguishingwithin 3 seconds

Characteristic of PVC electrical conduit
Strong resistance to pressure
Capable of bearing high pressure, both of high-impact heavy pipes (GY·415) and medium pipes (GY·315) can be paved in concrete via exposed and concealed paving without crack; the GY·415 series heavy pipes apply to concealed paving in compacted and vibrating concrete.
High resistance to corrosion and insects
PVC pipes are resistant to general acid and alkali and free from plasticizer to keep out insect.
Good fire resistance
The flame on PVC pipe can be knocked down quickly after leaving fire source to avoid fire spreading along with pipe. With low heat conductivity, the pipe can be well protected in case of fire, to ensure normal functioning of electric control system and personnel evacuating.
High insulation performance
The pipe can bear high voltage without breakdown, to avoid leakage and electric shock.
A.Light weight: With weight which is 1/5 that of steel pipe, the pipe can be easily transported and handled and installed with ease.
B.Easy bending: The pipe can be manually bent by inserting JHPI’s bending spring into the pipe.
C.Easy cut and connection: PVC pipes with diameter below φ32 mm can be easily cut off using JHPI’s cutter and then connected into the shapes needed using JHPI’s adhesive and accessories.
Material cost and construction and installation fees of PVC pipe are reduced greatly in comparison with steel pipes
Notice of Bending
■ Bend the pipe slowly to avoid damaging the pipe and its bending spring;
■Do not recover the bent pipe unless bending spring is taken out, to avoid damaging the spring;
■If failing to take out the bending spring, rotate the spring anticlockwise, pull it out and reduce its external diameter to take it out;
■For long pipes, tie the rope onto the hook at the end of bending spring, to pull out the spring after pipe is bent;
■For any construction at low temperature, do not bend the pipe until the bending position of pipe is heated through repeat friction using cloth.
